calcium pantothenate

What it is

Vitamin B5 as its stable calcium salt. 'Pantothen' is Greek for 'from everywhere' — the vitamin is in virtually every food because coenzyme A, its product, is in virtually every cell. Naturally occurring deficiency is a laboratory curiosity.

Why it's in pet food
