Celery stalks, fresh or dried. Nearly all water with a fibrous string architecture; the crunch is the product. Trace vitamins at doses that don't move any needle a complete food hasn't already moved.

Why it's in pet food

Filler freshness and label variety in "garden" recipes; at home, a low-calorie crunch for dogs that enjoy vegetables. Cut it short for enthusiastic gulpers — the strings are a chew-management note, not a toxin.
