No ads, no cross-site tracking, no data sales. Here is the complete list of what Bowlmark keeps in your browser, and the one thing that asks first.
Strictly necessary
These make the product work; they don't watch you.
- Sign-in session — keeps you signed in between visits (Supabase auth).
- Your consent choice — remembers your answer to the analytics banner, so it never re-asks.
- App preferences — theme and interface choices.
- Offline caches — product data and queued actions in your browser's IndexedDB, so scanning keeps working where signal dies.
Analytics — the one that asks
PostHog measures which features help, in aggregate. In GDPR regions it stays off until you accept the banner — declining is one tap, equally prominent, and final until you change your mind. Elsewhere it runs by default and your choice is still stored and honored. It never follows you across other sites.
Crash reports
Sentry receives error reports when something breaks — technical details of the failure, not a browsing profile.
Tracker-free pages
Public share pages — Care Cards and shared links — carry no analytics whatsoever. That's a product rule, not a setting.
Changing your mind
Your banner choice is yours to flip, and clearing your browser's site data resets everything Bowlmark stores locally. Questions: privacy@bowlmark.com.
